The Tribal Center Needs Your Help
The Chickahominy Indian Tribe was one of the first tribe’s to make contact with the English in 1607. The tribe has a long tradition of community in Charles City County and the surrounding area. One of the staples of the tribal community is the Tribal Center. Built in 1971, the building has been the source of many memories for the tribe and friends of the tribe. But the structure was in need of repair. The renovations expanded and modernized the restrooms to provide better access to handicapped and elderly guests. It also expanded the kitchen facilities to provide more room to work and included an upgrade of the aged appliances. Your support – whether you give $25, $100, or more – will go towards paying down the renovation loan and reducing the financial burden on the Tribe.
